Information We Collect
When you submit business information, purchase our services, or contact us, we collect the information you provide, which may include:
- Your name and business name
- Email address and phone number
- Business location, including city and state
- Services offered, website color preferences, and other business information you supply
- Billing contact details, order references, payment status, and subscription information
- Messages and other information you send us by email
How Information Is Used
We use this information to:
- Create and manage customer websites
- Process payments and subscriptions
- Communicate about services and provide customer support
- Recover interrupted checkouts and verify payment status
- Maintain necessary business records and protect our services
Payment Processing
Payments and subscription billing are processed through Stripe. Stripe collects payment details and a payment confirmation email address on its hosted checkout page.
Atelo Sites receives information needed to manage your order and subscription, including payment status and Stripe references. Atelo Sites does not directly store complete payment card details.
Service Providers and Sharing
We use Netlify to host the website and server-side functions and Netlify Blobs to store encrypted order records. Stripe processes payments and subscription billing. Resend delivers transactional emails, including internal order notifications and customer confirmations.
We provide these services with the information needed for their roles. Internal order notifications include the business information you submitted and your checkout email address. If you email us directly, your message is also handled by the email services used to send and receive it.
Our hosting and payment providers may process technical information, such as IP addresses, browser details, and request information, to deliver and secure their services.
Cookies and Browser Storage
The checkout flow uses a first-party cookie lasting up to seven days to reconnect your browser with its saved order, restore an unfinished checkout, and display payment status. On HTTPS, this cookie is Secure and HttpOnly.
The website also keeps a random checkout retry key in session storage, which normally lasts for the browser tab’s session and is removed after payment is confirmed. This key contains no business or contact details; submitted business information is stored on the server.
The current website code does not include advertising trackers or analytics scripts. Stripe’s hosted checkout and billing pages may use their own cookies and similar technologies under Stripe’s privacy practices.
Information Security
We use technical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted server-side order records, restricted server-side credentials, and verification of payment notifications. No method of transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
Information is retained as needed to provide services, maintain business records, resolve payment or support issues, and comply with applicable legal obligations. The checkout cookie’s expiry does not delete server-side order records. You can contact us about the information we retain.
Your Privacy Requests
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information. We may need to verify your request, and some information may need to be retained to meet applicable legal or business requirements.
